Ravi Bopara Posts His Throwback Picture On Twitter; Gets Trolled By Kevin Pietersen And Kumar Sangakkara

Former England batsman and one of the greatest-ever cricketer to have played for the ‘Three Lions’ Kevin Pietersen has been at the forefront of cricketers’ heightened social media presence these days. With the onslaught of the novel pandemic that is the coronavirus [COVID-1own.9], the entire world has been put under a lockdown.
And, so with so much of time on their hands, cricketers are resorting to a plethora of social media activities. From interacting with their fellow mates on Instagram to making Tik-Tok videos to engaging with fans via Question-Answer session and in the case of former England batsman Ravi Bopara, posting throwback pictures, social media has seen an avalanche of activities by cricketers in the past month.
Ravi Bopara recently posted a throwback picture of himself from his younger days on Twitter and what followed next was a series of hilarious jibes and trolling by his former English mate Kevin Pietersen and Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara.
Ravi Bopara had captioned the picture- “Look how fat I was”, adding a ‘donut’ emoji in the end.

Kevin Pietersen joins in the fun

And, Kevin Pietersen joined the fun by echoing Sangakkara’s words and wrote- “Exactly. Nothing’s changed”, to which Sangakkara replied with a laughing emoji.

Former England World Cup-winning cricketer-turned cricketer Isa Guha too joined in the fun and replied to Kumar Sangakkara’s comments with an “Ouch!”

And, there was no end to Bopara’s misery. Even the former Australian cricketer-turned coach Tom Moody joined in for some fun. Replying to Bopara’s throwback picture, Tom Moody wrote- “Must be the light or the angle mate”

Meanwhile, the ongoing situation with regards to the global pandemic that is the coronavirus has virtually put a screeching halt to life. As far as cricket is concerned, member boards have gone into overdrive regarding the contingency plans for the post-corona world.
