Ravi Shastri Responds To Nimrat Kaur Dating Rumours
Reacting strongly to the rumours suggesting that he is dating Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur, Team India head coach Ravi Shastri has said that the reports are the ???biggest load of dung.???
The rumours started doing the round viciously after Mumbai Mirror published a report. The report claimed that Ravi Shastri, who is separated from his wife Ritu for a decade now, has fallen head-over-heels in love with Nimrat. It further claimed that Shastri and Nimrat Kaur are dating discreetly for the last two years.
What further fuelled the fire was that a popular automobile brand roped in the couple many a times since 2015, to launch their various car models.
Despite their busy schedules, it is also reported that the two have been making time for each other.
However, Shastri has rubbished the rumours while reacting strongly.
???Nothing to say when it is the biggest load of cow dung,??? Shastri told mid-day. When pressed further, he repeated, ???Cow dung says it all.???
When asked when did he last meet the actress, Shastri shot back, ???When I say cow dung, you must understand.???
Earlier on Monday, Nimrat had also rubbished the reports through a cryptic tweet.
Fact: I may need a root canal. Fiction: Everything else I read about me today. More facts: Fiction can be more hurtful, monday blues exist and I love ice cream. Here???s to trash free happy days ahead???????
Meanwhile, Shastri, who is currently in England for the ongoing Test series, said that the defeat in the fourth Test hurts. India had the chance to level the five-match series but another poor batting performance quashed their hopes. Chasing 245, India were all out for just 184, thus losing the game by 60 runs.
England now lead the five-match series 3-1 with a match to go.
Shastri said that the loss in the fourth Test has disappointed all members of the team.
???This one [loss] hurts. It should have been 2-2. We had our chances,??? he said.
The final Test will get underway on September 7 at The Oval.
