Ravindra Jadeja Stunning Fielding Effort To Run-Out

The game of cricket is a funny one. One never knows when the fortunes of a team can completely change. Well, India and Bangladesh are experiencing something similar in the ongoing final of the Asia Cup – Ravindra Jadeja
Bangladesh came out with a new opening combination after being invited to have the first go with the bat. Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan had their task cut as Bangladesh were in desperate need of a good start.
And the duo did exactly that. They added 120 runs for the first wicket. While Liton was firing on all cylinders, Hasan was playing the role of second fiddle to perfection. Das was hitting the ball all around the park and Hasan was making sure to hold his end firmly.

The 120-run stand was Bangladesh’s first century-stand for the opening wicket since 2016. But the game soon turned on its head when Rohit Sharma introduced Kedar Jadhav in the attack. In his very first-over, the part-timer broke the big stand by dismissing Hasan.
It triggered a collapse as Bangladesh soon found themselves three down for 137. And 2 runs later, they lost another huge wicket in the form of Mohammad Mithun courtesy of a stunning fielding effort from Ravindra Jadeja.
On the final ball of the 28th delivery, Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a flighted delivery outside the off stump to Das. The right-handed batsman drove the ball in the gap towards the extra-cover.
The ball was looking set to beat the fielders before Jadeja incepted it with a stunning full length dive to his left. The allrounder then stopped the ball before throwing it to Chahal at the non-striker’s end.
In the meantime, a confusion between the batsmen saw both of them standing at the same end. Chahal, on the other hand, dislodged the bails with ease.
