Ravindra Jadeja's Wife Caught Without Mask, Argues With Police

Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian all-rounder, and his wife Rivaba were reportedly detained by Rajkot police on Monday morning.

According to a report published in the Bangalore Mirror, the incident took place on Rajkot’s ring road when the couple was traveling in their car with 2-3 other persons.

While the Indian all-rounder had his mask on, his wife Rivaba wasn’t reportedly wearing one. The car was stopped by head constable Sonal Ganeshwari of Rajkot’s Mahila Police Station.

According to PSI AJ Lathiya, Jadeja’s wife Rivaba got into a heated argument with the cops as a result of which her blood pressure shot-up.

Ravindra Jadeja and constable got embroiled in a heated argument

When contacted, the deputy commissioner of police, Manoharsinh Jadeja said,

“Jadeja and the constable both have accused each other of rude behaviour. There is no formal complaint from either side. As per my information, Jadeja was wearing a mask and we are investigating whether his wife was wearing or not.”

Rivaba was soon taken to the hospital where she is said to be doing fine now. She revealed that while the fine was collected for not wearing a mask, the due procedure will be carried out soon.
