RCB Have Sorted Death Over Bowling Issue For IPL 2020: Yuzvendra Chahal

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have lost numerous matches as their bowling did not compliment their batting ability. However, Yuzvendra Chahal believes that RCB have sorted their death over bowling woes as they have plenty of options to select from. RCB will be aiming for their first IPL triumph in the upcoming season.

Chahal said that Dale Steyn, Navdeep Saini, Chris Morris and Umesh Yadav can be used in the death overs and everyone is ready to bowl on the wickets in UAE. He also added that spinners can chip in with a few overs too.

“We have sorted out our bowling in the death overs. We have Dale (Steyn) sir, (Navdeep) Saini, Chris Morris and Umesh Yadav Bhaiya. We are not worried about bowling the last few overs as everyone is ready on wickets here (in UAE) spinners too can chip in with a couple of overs,” Yuzvendra Chahal told The Times of India.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has been the most unsuccessful side in the IPL thus far. Despite having experimented with plenty of talents, the side has not been able to yield benefits from it.

RCB has the record of reaching three finals. RCB entered the final match last time in 2016 but since then they have been at the bottom of the table. Moreover, in 2019, the franchise  finished last with just 5 wins from 14 matches. The team chairman has also said that though the team is learning, not winning titles adds pressure.

RCB has been bolstered with plenty of talents in their ranks. However, they have not been able to make the most of it. RCB have played with the likes of Chris Gayle, captain Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers in their side. But their bowling at the same time has been questionable. Mitchell Starc has missed out on playing for the franchise owing to injuries.
