In the ongoing IPL 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy stadium, RCB’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj made a remarkable delivery by bowling a perfectly aimed yorker to dismiss the big-hitter, Andre Russell.
This was a brilliant comeback by Mohammed Siraj, who had conceded 14 runs in the first three balls. Russell attempted to hit the ball with a cleared front leg but failed to do so, and the ball hit the leg stump. However, it was another disappointing performance by Russell as he was sent back to the pavilion for just 1 run.

Kolkata Knight Riders were asked to bat first, and they managed to score 200 runs for the loss of 5 wickets within their stipulated 20 overs. Rinku Singh and David Weise played a crucial role in boosting the team’s score with some explosive hitting towards the end.
In the final over bowled by Harshal Patel, both batsmen hit sixes to give Kolkata a competitive total. Among the bowlers, Wanindu Hasaranga and Vijaykumar Vyshak were the most successful, each taking two wickets.

Despite facing some early setbacks, Kolkata Knight Riders made a quick recovery, thanks in part to the mistakes made by the Royal Challengers Bangalore fielders, who gave Nitish Rana a couple of opportunities. Rana capitalized on these chances and went on to score 48 runs, making a solid contribution to the team’s total.
However, Vijaykumar Vyshak’s exceptional performance proved to be a hindrance for KKR as he took two wickets in one over, slowing down their momentum after the fielding restrictions were lifted. Jason Roy, who had a great start, hitting several sixes during the powerplay overs, was dismissed for 56 runs. In the same over, N Jagadeesan, who had scored 27 runs, was also sent back to the pavilion by Vyshak.
