Reece Topley, England fast bowler, has been ruled out of the final One-day International of the three-match series against Ireland, England and Wales Cricket Board told reports on Monday.
Topley, who made a comeback into the English side after a period of four years in the last ODI, has been sidelined due to a groin injury and will take no further part in the series.
The six-foot-tall fast bowler claimed one wicket in his nine overs in England’s four-wicket win over Ireland at the Ageas Oval.
England have already won the series thanks to thumping wins in the last two games- by six and four wickets- and with Topley getting sidelined, Tom Curran, who made way for the former in the last game, should slot right back into the side.
The third and final ODI between England and Ireland will take place on Tuesday [August 04].
