Rinku Singh Rates Andre Russell As The Best All-Rounder In The World Currently

Rinku Singh might not have played in a lot of IPL games; however, he boasts of an imperious domestic record. Rinku Singh has been part of Kolkata Knight Riders since 2018 and is an outstanding fielder; yet, has played only nine matches in overall IPL so far. Meanwhile, he has picked his fellow teammate the best all-rounder in the world and spoke of his relationship with him.

Rinku Singh rated explosive all-rounder Andre Russell as the best all-rounder in the world currently. Andre Russell might be inconsistent in international fixtures; however, is a gun cricketer when it comes to franchise cricket. The Jamaican was the most valuable player of the tournament last year for his 511 runs and 11 wickets. Russell has an IPL career strike rate of 186, which is the highest by any player.

Rinku Singh highlights that no batsman can hit the ball better than Andre Russell, revealing there is plenty of life and strength in him. The left-handed batsman feels that no batsman comes close to Russell and that he is best all-rounder at present.

There is no one who can hit the ball better than him. He has a lot of life and strength in him. His sixes are massive and I just don’t see any batsman as a competition to him. He is the best all-rounder in the world at this moment,” the 22-year old stated as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Rinku further said that he has not spoken to the West Indian that much since his English is relatively weak; however, revealed to have partied a lot on his birthday. The southpaw went on to say the pair partied and danced together post which they began bonding well.

I haven’t really spoken much with him because I can’t speak in English that well. But yeah, the first year we enjoyed a lot on his birthday in our room. We even partied and danced together. So, I guess we started bonding well afterwards,” he added.
