Rishi Kapoor Passes Away: Cricket Fraternity Mourn Death Of Veteran Actor

Veteran bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on Thursday morning after battling with cancer for two years. Yesterday night, Rishi Kapoor was admitted to H N Reliance hospital, after he was unwell, his brother Randhir Kapoor said. Today, in the morning, he took his last breath in the hospital at the age of 67. Rishi Kapoor is survived by wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir and daughter Ridhima.

Cricket fraternity mourned the death of the versatile actor as everyone conveyed their condolences to the family in this tragic time.

He was part of hit films such as Bobby, Amar Akbar Anthony, Laila Majnu, Rafoo Chakkar , Sargam, Karz, Prem Rog, Chandni, Heena, Karz, Bol Radha Bol and Saaga.

Last year, in September, Rishi Kapoor had returned to India after undergoing treatment for cancer in the United Stares for almost a year. He was hospitalised twice in February, this year. According to reports, he was first admitted to a hospital in Delhi where he was attending a family function. At the time, Rishi Kapoor had said that he was suffering from an infection.

Rishi Kapoor’s death adds to the grief of Irrfan Khan‘s passing away on Wednesday.
