Robin Uthappa Congratulates Virat Kohli for Achieving Incredible Feat in Vizag

The 32-year old Robin Uthappa congratulated Virat Kohli, as he became the fastest batsman to reach 10,000 ODI runs in the history of cricket against the Windies during Vizag ODI. Meanwhile, Kohli also became the thirteenth batsman and fifth Indian to join the elite class. Also, he played his 213th ODI match where he scored 157 runs off 129 balls.

Moreover, the right-hander took ten years and 66 days to achieve the feat. However, it was on the third ball of the 37th over when Kohli pushed it and took a single to reach the landmark. He along with the crowd and the dressing room celebrated the journey of Kohli.

However, Virat Kohli was just 81 runs short of the 10,000-run landmark before the match. He played some interesting cricket with Ambati Rayudu, as they added 139 runs for the third wicket. India, however, couldn’t manage to win the game but has ended in a tie. Kohli was rewarded as the Man of the Match for his fantastic effort.

Meanwhile, Robin Uthappa feels Virat Kohli can score another 10,000 runs to complete his 20,000-run landmark in ODI cricket. He also congratulated him for achieving the feat is also expects to see many more in the future.
