The skipper of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, reached another milestone in his already illustrious career as he became only the fourth batsman in IPL history to hit 200 sixes in the tournament. He also became only the second batsman after MS Dhoni to have crossed the 200-sixes mark in the IPL history.

KKR won the toss on Wednesday and elected to field first at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Pat Cummins were the four overseas players that KKR decided to go forward with. Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for MI, having made no changes in their Playing 11 from the last game against CSK.
