Rohit Sharma Clears the Passing Score of Yo-Yo Test

India’s limited overs deputy Rohit Sharma has cleared the Y0-Yo test at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, there were doubts raised over the fitness of the Indian opener recently.

However, Rohit quashed all the rumors as he shared a post on his Instagram handle.

Furthermore, Rohit Sharma can be in contention to lead India in the two-match T20I series against Ireland. Rohit can hold the captaincy reins if in case Virat Kohli fails to attain full fitness. Kohli is currently recuperating from a neck injury that he suffered in the IPL.

Rohit Sharma is all excited to tour Ireland.

Meanwhile, India will play their next match against Ireland on June 27. The second T20I will be played at the same venue of Dublin on June 29. Subsequently, India will set their foot in England for the imperative. Men in Blue will play three T20I in England which will be followed by as many One-Dayers.

The limited overs series will be followed by the pivotal five-match Test series.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was overlooked in the one-off Test match against Afghanistan. The flamboyant batsman had failed to impress on the South African tour. Thus, he was shown the exit doors from the Test squad.
