The instances of video calls have increased exponentially over the past few days amid most countries being in a period of quarantine amid Coronavirus outbreak. With all the cricketing affairs abandoned, for now, all they can do is engage over video calls with each other to have fun. Iconic cricketers Rohit Sharma and Kevin Pietersen were indulged in an interesting and hilarious conversation via Instagram. During the chat, Rohit Sharma named the cricketer, who would hate this period of confinement.

The Coronavirus pandemic has given rise to most of the country’s governments to impose lockdown for specific days to contain the spread. Due to the rapid spread of the disease, all the boards have also suspended the sporting events.

The BCCI has also postponed the IPL, to April 15 from March 29. The England Cricket Board (ECB) has also announced that no cricketing affairs would take place in the country till May 28. Also, the ECB players are set to face pay cuts amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Pietersen caught up in a friendly chat over Instagram. Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers also joined them shortly after that. The English cricketer asked the Hitman, who would despise the lockdown amongst his teammates.

Notably, Rohit conceded that all the single players would be the ones disliking it since they may be itching to go outside and click selfies with their fans and friends. The explosive opener singled out Yuzvendra Chahal, who is desperately vouching for the house arrest to come to a close.

“Who do you think is hating this (lockdown) the most in the Indian team?” asked KP. “Guys who are single. They must be dying to go out. All these guys posting pictures, selfies and all that. I think to make out from all that these guys are fried, they want to get out”.
