The emergence of Jasprit Bumrah in the game of cricket is quite a story. Out of nowhere, without any hype, Jasprit Bumrah has been named in the Mumbai Indians setup in Indian Premier League. He got the backing from the skipper Rohit Sharma and the key individual Sachin Tendulkar right from the start of the youngster’s career.

In his first game, he was smashed to three boundaries by the Indian run-machine Virat Kohli. But, then came the stunning delivery to trap him LBW and then on, he was a force to reckon with. He made great progress to become the best in the business.

After the stunning show in IPL, he performed exceptionally in the domestic circuit to receive the call-up for Indian National Cricket Team. His unorthodox action helped his progress and within no time, he became the go-to bowler for India.

Meanwhile, speaking to Times of India, Jasprit Bumrah revealed his bond with Rohit Sharma. He quoted that Sharma has always backed him while playing for Mumbai Indians or for the Indian team

”He’s seen me before I was an India player and he’s seeing me now. He’s seen phases that I’ve been through. The thing with Rohit is, he’s never been different with me. He used to back me with a lot of space then and he does it now,” Jasprit Bumrah quoted.

”He’ll come, ask me what I see or believe in, set the field accordingly and then keeps backing me up all the time. Some days it works, some days it doesn’t but it’s always so reassuring,” he added to his lines.

Well, as Bumrah said, the partnership between them has always worked for the team, be it for Mumbai Indians or Indian team. All in all, it is a pleasing sight to see the mutual respect between the duo.
