It was one of those bad days at the office for India during the 4th ODI against Kiwis in the recently concluded Indian tour to New Zealand. It was the game, which saw Yuzvendra Chahal finishing as the highest run-scorer for Indian National Cricket Team with the bat. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma recalls the knock once again.

It was one of the horrible days for India at the office. They were rolled up for 92 runs on the board. Trent Boult was the wrecker-in-chief while Colin de Grandhomme also joined the party to deliver the goods for the team. None of the Indian batsmen has got a clue while tackling the Kiwis attack.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma recalls the knock after watching Yuzvendra Chahal’s Instagram story, in which, Chahal was spotted with a plain bat. Out of wonder, Rohit Sharma expressed that he was surprised to see no company sponsoring him, especially, after watching his knock in New Zealand.

Digging into his post, it read ““Plain bat? I thought by now you could get a sponsor for your bat after that knock in NZ. #GOAT.”

Yuzvendra Chahal scored 18 runs:

It would have been even worse for India if Yuzvendra Chahal or Kuldeep Yadav failed to get something to their name. Chahal scored 18 while Kuldeep Yadav got 15 runs. Though the numbers look small, it was quite enough to bail out India from creating embarrassing records.

Despite the effort, Indian National Cricket Team faced their heaviest loss in the One Day Format of the game, as far as the ball left while defending the tally is concerned. Apart from all those, India sealed the series victory by a margin of 4-1.

On the work front, both of them are currently involved with the Indian National Cricket Team for the series against Australia. They both failed to make an impact on the first T20I game, which India lost the game in a thrilling finish.
