It came to light that they have also extended their isolation period by the 1st of September for all their party. Additionally, their star batsman Suresh Raina has also pulled out of the tournament, owing to personal reasons.

The likes of MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Faf Du Plessis Shane Watson, Ravindra Jadeja, Imran Tahir, and Deepak Chahar have been their bedrock. Due to the rising cases in the sub-continent, the 13th edition was shifted to the UAE with the starting date set for the 19th of September; however, the tournament still undergoes trials and tribulations.
