SA v IND 2018: Anushka Sharma Cheers Her Husband Via Instagram Handle

Team India skipper Virat Kohli is regarded as the Modern Master who scores centuries in run chases as if it is a part of his daily routine. Time and again he has proved why he is one of the best batsmen of the modern generation across all three formats of the game.

He carried on from where he left in the Test series against South Africa and went on to notch up his maiden ODI century in the Rainbow nation to take India over the line in a one-sided encounter in the 1^st ODI between the two teams at the Kingsmead in Durban.

He has been a chase master, and his calculations are always terrific in a run chase. Even yesterday, he paced his innings to perfection and never allowed the pressure to climb on the visitors. His partner Ajinkya Rahane also played a great inning of 79 runs and shared a match-winning stand of 189 runs with Kohli, as India romped home by six wickets and with 27 deliveries to spare.

Both were dismissed during the fag end of the chase, but by then they had taken India within touching distance of the target.

Kohli struck some delightful shots in his innings. He eventually dismissed on 112 of 119 deliveries which included ten hits to the fence.

Anushka Sharma, who recently tied the knot with Kohli in a private ceremony in Italy was in all awe of his husband. Taking to her Instagram handle Anushka shared a few stories, and one among them read,

“What a guy.”

The couple has shared sweet messages on their social networking sites, and it was nothing new. However, their marriage has seemed to end all the jiffies which they had in the middle. They are a happily married couple now and Anushka is enjoying seeing Kohli bat more than ever after becoming Mrs Kohli.

Anushka was in the rainbow nation during the Test series when Virat scored a sensational 151 in the 2^nd Test at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. However, she had to leave South Africa due to her work commitments. Meanwhile, it must be noted that it was Kohli’s 20^th century while chasing and as a skipper.
