Debutant Lungi Ngidi’s seven-wicket haul gives host South Africa a series win with one match still to play against the No 1 ranked Test team. South Africa displayed a clinical performance with both and ball as they decimate India.
India will now look to revive their confidence and go all out in the third and last Test at Johannesburg.

Here are the statistical highlights from the second Test at Centurion:
1) No team from Asia have won a Test series in South Africa and Australia.
2) India lost their first series under the captaincy of Virat Kohli in any format (captain in the whole series).
3) Cheteshwar Pujara becomes the first Indian to be run out twice in the same Test match.
He is the 23rd player overall and first in over 17 years to get run out twice. New Zealand opener Stephen Fleming was the last man to get run out twice in December 2000.
4) South Africa’s Lungi Ngidi becomes the fifth cricketer to be adjudged man of the match against India on debut.
New Zealand’s Stephen Fleming in 1994, West Indies’ Franklyn Rose in1997, Aussie Michael Clarke in 2004, and Jason Krejza from Australia in 2008.
