SA vs IND 2018: Troubled by Chahal & Kuldeep, South Africa Call in Five Leg-Spinners in Nets

The duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have become a headache for South African batsmen in the ongoing ODI series.
In the two games till now, they have combinedly scalped 13 wickets, thus causing significant problems for South Africa.
The home batsmen have found it difficult to tackle these two wrist spinners, and as a result of it, they called in a total of five net bowlers in their practice session, all of whom bowled leg-spin to the batsmen, a report in ABP suggests.
All the batsmen were practising to play attacking shots against the leggies.
Both, Kuldeep and Chahal, have been the star of the Indian bowling on this tour until now. The home side batsmen have failed to pick the deliveries and as a result, have gifted their wickets to the Indian bowlers.
Especially in the second game, the way South African batsmen got dismissed, it was a surprise to see.
While skipper, Aiden Markram got dismissed trying to hit Kuldeep for a six on a loose delivery, he was caught on the boundary by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. David Miller went way forward to drive the bowler, which eventually found an edge off his bat before going into the hands of Ajinkya Rahne, who was standing at slips.
Team India has tasted success with Kuldeep and Chahal in the side, and they (Kuldeep and Chahal) have fixed their spot in the team for next year’s World Cup too.
Leg-spin has now become the need of the hour, and the Virat Kohli-led side has successfully tested out these two in past few months. They have ensured the team does not miss the experience of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin – who have now become red ball specialists.
Meanwhile, the third ODI of the series will be played on February 7 in Cape Town. Team India is currently leading in the series by 2-0, and a win in the next game will help the Men in Blue to take a step towards a series win.
India is expected to go with an unchanged squad while South Africa will have one forced change, as Quinton de Kock has been ruled out of the ODI and T20I series. The pitch for the third ODI is expected to be a spin friendly one.
