Virat Kohli was caught on stump mic swearing “Shaam Tak Khelenge, Inki G***D Fat Jaegi” which roughly translates to “If we play until the evening they are F****D.” Kohli’s comments came at the stroke Tea session as India went on the break at 80/2. India lost two quick wickets in the second session of the first innings after bowling out hosts South Africa for a 335 before lunch.

Indian openers, KL Rahul and Murali Vijay, started well but Rahul lost his wicket early in the second session. Cheteshwar Pujara followed on the very next delivery leaving India 28/2. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Murali Vijay then took the responsibility stabilizing the Indian innings.

Kohli and Vijay were then involved in a 52 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. Both the batsmen failed miserably in the first Test but both the batsmen played well and looked solid in the first innings.
