India defeated South Africa by 124 runs in the third One-day International at Newlands in Cape Town. As a result, India is 3-0 ahead in the ongoing six-match series as records are all set to galore.
First of all, India posted 303 on board batting first riding on Virat Kohli’s century. Shikhar Dhawan provided good support too. However, South African bowlers went for plenty.
The 29-year-old Kohli brought his 34th international hundred as he remained unbeaten on 160 runs. His magnificent knock included 12 boundaries and two sixes.

While bowling, Indian wrist spinners once again did the bulk of the job. They shared eight wickets among each other as South Africa rattled within 179 runs. Jean-Paul Duminy tried to create resistance but was undone by a wrong one.
India will play their fourth game on February 10 (Saturday) at Johannesburg. Hence, they are on the verge of breaking a plethora of records.
Men in Blue can win their first-ever series in South Africa if they beat the hosts in the fourth ODI. As a result, Kohli will become the first Indian captain to win a series in South Africa.

In addition to this, Ajinkya Rahane and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are in line to reach their individual milestone.
Kohli, who has made a habit of breaking records is on the verge of breaking handful of records again.
Meanwhile, India has totally dominated the series so far and is in line to sweep the series 6-0.
Moreover, South Africa was badly hurt by the injuries of their star cricketers. In addition, their batsmen have failed to pick India’s wrist spinners.
