It is no secret that Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli admire Swiss legend Roger Federer. There have been times when Sachin Tendulkar have went to meet Roger Federer and spoken to him. But in a recent video posted on Instagram by Sachin Tendulkar he could be seen playing tennis and asked Roger Federer for help.

Playing tennis is one of the many things Tendulkar has done to bind time in the lockdown enforced due to Covid-19 which has brought the sporting season to a halt. Tennis and cricket seems equally effected due to the pandemic.

Sachin Tendulkar: Hey Roger Federer, any tips for my forehand

Sachin Tendulkar was seen smashing a forehand in the video. He subsequently tagged the 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer, a master of the technique, to ask about some tips for his forehand. The cancellation of tennis season during the pandemic has come as a blessing is disguise for Federer, who is recovering from a surgery.

It is not the first time Tendulkar has shown how highly he regards Federer. The cricket legend was impressed with his hand-eye co-ordination at the Wimbledon round-of-16 match in 2018 as well.

“As always, great hand-eye co-ordination. @rogerfederer, let’s exchange notes on cricket and tennis after you win your 9th Wimbledon title,” wrote Tendulkar on Twitter.

Earlier, this month Federer said that he will be out of tennis action as he is recovering from a surgery on his right knee.

“Much like I did leading up the 2017 season, I plan to take the necessary time to be 100% ready to play at my highest level,” Federer wrote in his post. “I will be missing my fans and the tour dearly but, I will look forward to seeing everyone back on tour at the start of the 2021 season.”

He had underwent the arthroscopic knee surgery in February.
