Just like master-blaster, Sachin Tendulkar can read a bowler’s mind; he can also understand if a player will go on to make it big in the coming years in international cricket. Mumbai Indians (MI) have revealed one such prediction that Sachin Tendulkar made when he saw Hardik Pandya bat in the nets for Mumbai Indians before making his IPL debut.
Hardik Pandya has gone on to become one of the greatest assets of team India. The flamboyant hitter has evolved as one of the great all-rounders in modern-day cricket, and a lot of credit for it goes to the way his IPL franchise, Mumbai Indians have groomed him.

Pandya made his debut for India in 2016, just seven months after making his IPL debut. However, master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar knew that Hardik Pandya would definitely represent India sooner than later.
Sachin Tendulkar Predicted That Hardik Pandya Will Represent India
On the occasion of Tendulkar’s 47th birthday, Mumbai Indians recalled how the Master Blaster predicted Pandya’s future back in 2015.
“The way you’re playing and the kind of potential and talent that you have, you’ll play for India in another one to one and a half years,” Tendulkar had told Pandya back in 2015, as per MI.

After making his debut for India in 2016 in the T20I format, Pandya hasn’t looked back in life. He later went on to make his ODI and Test debut for the Men in Blue as well. Hardik Pandya has asserted himself as one of the best all-rounders in contemporary cricket and has evacuated India from troublesome situations more often than not.

With the coronavirus outbreak bringing the world to a standstill, the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was postponed from March 29 to April 15. India is currently on a world’s biggest lockdown to combat the deadly virus which was extended on April 14 by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Dark Clouds Sustain Over IPL 2020 Future
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now looking at the October-November window for the IPL. But the move can be possible only if the ICC decides to postpone the men’s T20 World Cup that is to be held later in the year, according to some sources in the board.
On April 10, latest reports suggested that the BCCI is probing into the July window to conduct the IPL and it could take place behind closed doors.

However, all hopes have once again vanished as the BCCI. On Thursday suspended the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 indefinitely in the light of the coronavirus pandemic.
