Sachin Tendulkar wishes Cheteshwar Pujara on his 30th Birthday

Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has praised the efforts of India’s top-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara while having a special wish for the latter on his 30th birthday
The 30-year-old Rajkot-born Pujara is participating in the ongoing three-match Sunfoil series against South Africa as the Virat Kohli-led side is trailing by 2-0.
The batting maestro Tendulkar took to Twitter to wish the batting reliance Pujara on his special day.
However, on day one on Wednesday (January 24) of the final Test in Johannesburg, after Virat Kohli won the toss, Pujara was struggling to score runs which further saw him opening the mark on his 53rd delivery. Pujara, in the post-day press conference, revealed it was the tough surface for him to bat on.
The right-handed batsman Pujara faced the marathon of 179 deliveries for his 50 runs before he was dismissed by medium pacer Andile Phehlukwayo when gloveman Quinton de Kock completed a regulation catch.
Before walking back to the hut, Pujara in his innings registered eight boundaries as he scored at the strike-rate of 27.93.
The Mumbaikar in the form of Tendulkar has been known for his remarkable batting prowess – to play an imperative role for Indian cricket in a nutshell.
The right-handed batter and example of burgeoning success Tendulkar have further termed the Test specialist Pujara as the ‘silent warrior’ for delivering goods to India.
Moreover, the former skipper Tendulkar further wished Pujara for the ongoing third Test at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.

Interestingly, Pujara has been in the national team when Tendulkar was representing the national side before playing his final international game in November 2013 against Windies at his home ground Wankhede in Mumbai.
Tendulkar, who made his international debut in 1989, has further played 200 Tests for India in which he scored 15,921.at an average of 53.48. He smashed 51 hundreds and 68 fifties.
Concluding, Pujara has featured in 95 Tests innings in 57 matches so far which further saw him scoring at the average of 51.07. He has 14 hundreds and 17 fifties under his belt.
