Probably, Javagal Srinath is an underrated legend in the Indian cricket. Though his name isn’t taken often on the list of top five best fast bowlers, the presence of Javagal Srinath and his incredible execution of fast bowling had always been exceptional. Meanwhile, he celebrates his 49th birthday on Friday, and Sachin Tendulkar comes up with his greetings.

Of late, Sachin Tendulkar has been very active on social media and never let himself back in wishing his friends. Recently, he came up with a hilarious wish to Lasith Malinga, and now, he tweets it for Javagal Srinath.

Sachin Tendulkar has always got the unique style in wishing someone on their birthday. He relates his wish to the experiences that he had with the birthday boy in years bygone. Much to the same, he came up similarly to Javagal Srinath as well.

The cricketing icon of India wants to celebrate Javagal Srinath’s birthday like they celebrated the wicket on the field during those days. Recollecting those memories, Sachin Tendulkar added a picture of them as well.

His tweet read ”Let’s celebrate your birthday, just like we celebrated each of your wickets. Happy Birthday, Sri.”

After the conclusion of their careers, Sachin Tendulkar became the member of Rajya Sabha and also offers his services to BCCI as well. He is the member of CoA appointed CAC, which includes Laxman and Ganguly as well. Apart from that, Sachin Tendulkar is an active campaigner in charity works.

Coming to Javagal Srinath, post-retirement, Srinath had a stint as a TV commentator and later went on to become a member of the ICC match referee panel.

In 2010, Javagal Srinath stood for the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) elections as part of Anil Kumble’s team and was elected as the secretary.
