Perhaps, Lasith Malinga is the only bowler who showed the world that what a yorker delivery can do. How amazing would it be to know the next ball from Malinga will be a yorker, but still the batsman falters? However, that has been his charm. Meanwhile, he celebrates his 35th birthday on Tuesday, and Sachin Tendulkar is quick in wishing his friend.

As Lasith Malinga turned 35 years old, the master blaster of India, Sachin Tendulkar showed another side of his personality in wishing his Mumbai Indians teammate.

Sachin Tendulkar in his wishes added a picture of him with Lasith Malinga in the Mumbai Indians attire. He then added quoting; he would always suggest the batsman watch the ball, not the Baal (hair) of Malinga while facing him.

Lasith has always got the unique style in the way of his dressing and his hairdos. Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar gave his humorous take on Lasith Malinga’s hairstyle on his birthday.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”When it came to batting against Lasith Malinga, I always said … baal ko nahin, ball ko dekho (don’t look at the hair, look at the ball. Happy birthday, my friend.”

On the personal front, both the legendary players, Sachin Tendulkar and Lasith Malinga always shared a friendly bond. They both used to be the pillars for Mumbai Indians in those days in the IPL. Now, they both are guiding the franchise from the dugout.
