Cheteshwar Pujara, the most happening name in the Test cricket. The flamboyant number 3 batsman of Indian National Cricket Team has had an outstanding year and tour of Australia was like icing on the cake. Meanwhile, he turned 31-year-old tonight and the god of Indian Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar sends his best wishes to Cheteshwar Pujara.

Sachin Tendulkar and Cheteshwar Pujara have shared a decent amount of time in the dressing room. They both scripted fine partnerships for Indian National Cricket Team in the longer version of the game against few top-class teams in the world cricket.

Meanwhile, while wishing, Sachin Tendulkar quoted that Cheteshwar Pujara has been a great consistent run-knocker for India and wants him to repeat the same in his career. Further, he wished Pujara to have a great year ahead.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”Time and again he stands up and wages a battle against the opposition to build a solid foundation for India’s success. Happy birthday, @cheteshwar1. Have a great year.”

The 31-year-old Saurashtra batsman finished with a staggering 521 runs in the series at an average of over 74 with three centuries and a half-century. The knock in Adelaide was something, which gave the right kind of start to the series for India.

Also, in one of those staggering stats, Pujara faced 1258 deliveries, comfortably the most by any batsman. The previous best was registered by Rahul Dravid when he travelled Australia, way back in 2003-04 tour.

Currently, he is plying his trade for Saurashtra Cricket Association in the Ranji Trophy 2018-19. After the conclusion, he will be travelling back to England to finish his County stint.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar is enjoying his time off the field. He will be seen back in the cricket stadiums when Mumbai Indians feature in the Indian Premier League 2019.
