Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, announced as an ambassador for the T20 Mumbai League. Probability Sports India Private Limited revealed on Friday. It is a consortium of the IIFL Group.

The event has a backing of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and the city will host the inaugural edition of the event in March.

Six teams will participate in the first season of the T20 league. The tournament set to begin on March 11. However, the short paced competition will culminate on March 21 respectively.

Probability Sports India Private Limited has cordially summoned bids for awarding six teams.

Geographically, the teams are going to participate in the competition owing to the division basis. Mumbai North, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai South-Central and Mumbai South are six tentative teams taking part in the event.

It’s always a pleasure to be associated with the Mumbai Cricket Association. The T20 Mumbai League will entertain cricket fans. It provides a great platform to the talented young cricketers in Mumbai,” Tendulkar said according to Hindustan Times.

Tendulkar is heavily relying upon various philanthropic activities post-retirement from cricket. Also, he is an integral part of the Mumbai Indians camp in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The competition of the Mumbai T20 league is being held under the banner of promotion of Mumbai Cricket.

Apart from all the promotional activities, the legendary batsman Tendulkar is also active on social media platforms.

His tweets and posts always back the Indian cricket team through highs of triumphs and lows of defeat.

Tendulkar has simultaneously nursed the raw talent in the domestic fold.
