Legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar sent his birthday wish to young leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. The Indian leggie is celebrating his 28th birthday on Monday (July 23).

Chahal, the Indian rising star who in the recent times, has left a significant impact with the white-ball alongside chinaman Kuldeep Yadav.

Furthermore, the Master Blaster Tendulkar asked the Haryana-based bowler to continue with his good work for the national team.

Meanwhile, Chahal recently featured in the limited-overs leg against England. However, Chahal performance was not up to the mark.

The leg-spinner scalped a solitary wicket in the Twenty20 International series. In fact, Chahal took two wickets in the three-match One-day International series.

However, Chahal is still young in his International career. In the 26 ODI outings, he bagged 45 wickets. Furthermore, the quality spinner scalped 42 T20I wickets in the same number of matches.

Chahal had bowled a fine spell against England as he claimed six for 25 last year at his backyard.

The Indian leg-spinner has impressed many with his bowling skills in the middle overs. He had looked to go for the wickets and he is not afraid to get hit for the runs.

Thus, Chahal has given a strong push to his name’s envelope for the Test spot. However, he is yet to break into the Indian Test fold.

Therefore, Chahal will aim to get his maiden call-up into the longer version of the game. Recently, he represented Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Sachin Tendulkar took to his Twitter account to give his best wishes to Yuzvendra Chahal.

Sachin post read as, “Wish you a very happy birthday, @yuzi_chahal. Keep up the fantastic work. May you achieve all that you desire”.
