England wicket-keeper Sam Billings produced an MS Dhoni-like run-out during the fifth and final T20I against New Zealand in Auckland. Meanwhile, England-New Zealand can never be short of any drama as another Super Over unfolded after the ICC World Cup final in Lords.

The Sunday got brighter for the cricket fans as England took on the host Kiwis for the final encounter. The ever-improving England side once again came out trumps to beat New Zealand after the World Cup final. Batting first, New Zealand managed to post 146 runs in their 11 overs in a reduced game.

Martin Guptill (50 off 20) and Colin Munro (46 off 21) added 83 runs for the first wicket to get the host going. They were on song taking on the new ball to hit the English bowlers out of the park. Wicket-keeper Tim Siefert also continued the blitz (39 off 16) to post 146 runs.

England also came all guns blazing with Jonny Bairstow leading the charge. He struck 47 off 18 deliveries and with contributions from other batsmen, the visitors were in course for the chase. A timely knock for Chris Jordan ensured another England-New Zealand match going for a tie.

The fate of the Super Over once again went in favour of England, who scored 16 runs before defending the total to take home the series. The Kiwis once again finished on the losing side after the World Cup final. Meanwhile, during the New Zealand innings, Sam Billings produced a stunner to get the better of Ross Taylor in the last ball of their innings.

It was a low full-toss from Tom Curran and Ross Taylor could only squeeze the clip past square leg. There was no second run there, but Taylor chanced a risk, an accurate throw from Sam Curran meant he was always coming second best.

Sam Billings, who collected the ball well ahead produced an MS Dhoni-like run-out to entertain the audience at the Eden Park.
