Michael Vaughan’s constant attempt to rile up Sanjay Manjrekar has made the latter block the former England skipper on Twitter. It all started with Sanjay Manjrekar’s comment on India allrounder Ravindra Jadeja. Manjrekar raised quite a number of eyebrows with his comment for Jadeja in the wake of India’s defeat to England in the World Cup.

After India suffered their first loss of the competition, assistant coach Sanjay Bangar had hinted that Ravindra Jadeja might play the next game. Manjrekar had then expressed his displeasure over it, saying that he is not too keen to see a “bits and pieces” player in the playing XI.

“I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner,” Manjrekar was quoted as saying by IANS.

The matter soon escalated when Jadeja took to Twitter to give it back to Manjrekar. The India star reminded Manjrekar of his own international record and said that he has had enough of his verbal diarrhoea. Since then, the fans have been busy slamming Manjrekar. They have not wasted a single opportunity to criticise Manjrekar who has made a knack of coming up with bold comments.

Amidst all these, Michael Vaughan dragged himself into the entire episode by taking dig at Manjrekar on Twitter. On Tuesday, he took another dig at Manjrekar after Jadeja castled Henry Nicholls with a beauty in the semifinal against New Zealand.

Manjrekar seems to have had enough of Michael Vaughan as he blocked the England star soon. Michael Vaughan himself took to Twitter to reveal the news, writing:

“BREAKING NEWS .. I have been blocked by @sanjaymanjrekar .. !!! #CWC19”
