The situation of Kerala is turning worse after the state met with the furious floods. Pinarayi Vijayan, who is the honourable Cheif Minister of the state described the floods, as worsts in over a hundred years. The death toll has already touched the mark of 300 excluding thousands of people who are stranded.

Many of the sportsmen, film celebrities and other high stature people came forward for the relief purposes subsequently.
As a result, Indian cricketer, Sanju Samson went through a same generous act of coming forward to provide aid to the victims.
Sanju Samson, therefore, announced he would contribute in the relief welfare by giving 15 lakh rupees towards Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.

As a result, Sanju Samson also invited his countrymen to come forward to help their people in miserable time. He explained that he intends to raise awareness with the donation among the common masses.
He set an example for the others to follow in the dire straits. On behalf of the cricketer, his father Samson Vishwanadh and brother Saly Samson met CM Vijayan. As a result, they handed over the cheque to CM.

In an interview with Khaleej Times, Sanju Samson said it is not time for the publicity but an hour to come forward.
“This is not for publicity. I do charity without letting the world know. Now, it’s the time to raise some awareness on the importance of donating to the flood relief fund and people like me have to do it and let know the public. I think my action will prompt several other people to come forward and support the flood-hit people,” said the cricketer.
