Shaw has already shown that he belongs to a different league as at the age of 18 he has five tons alongside his name in just nine first-class matches. Though, it will be interesting to see whether his form and records can attract an IPL bid for him or not. He went unsold in previous IPL auction.

Next on the list is Shubhman Gill, who has already made it to India A. He has done well for India U19 and will surely bag an IPL contract.

Haryana’s Himanshu Rana has been playing first-class cricket since 2015 and is one of the senior members in the side. He might miss out on an IPL contract, like the previous year.

All-rounder Abhishek Sharma is expected to bag the highest amount out of all the players due to his all-round abilities. He has done well at the junior level and also led the junior team to Asia Cup triumph in 2016.

Ishan Porel, the Bengal pacer, has done well in first-class cricket and is expected to be picked up by a franchise. Porel grabbed his opportunities well when he got a chance during the Ranji Trophy season.

Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti, the pace duo, have impressed well during the junior World Cup. They have bowled some serious pace in two games and will be on franchises’ radar. Especially Nagarkoti, who clocked 145 km/hr speed in the first game.

All the players will be available at the revised base price of Rs 20 Lakhs. Earlier, the least base price for any player was Rs 10 Lakh which was increased to Rs 20 Lakhs. Other adjustments were also made at various base prices.
