After a washout in the opening game, Sri Lanka and Pakistan will be keen to take the ground in the second ODI on September 30 (Monday) at the National Stadium in Karachi. Addressing the press conference on the eve of the game, Pakistan cricketer Shadab Khan came out with a hilarious reply when a reporter asked him if he was missing his teammate Hasan Ali.

It’s still new dawn for a familiar-looking Pakistan, who will begin their campaign with new head coach Misbah ul Haq at the helm of things. They have had a conservative approach considering the team selection and will hope to make a dominant start. It will be interesting to see how the cricketers approach the game under the new head coach.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka, who have come here with a second-string side will be keen to put their best feet forward. A lot will depend on makeshift skipper Lahiru Thirimanne to lead the side from the front and bring the best out of a young team.

Meanwhile, speaking ahead of the game, Shadab Khan gave a witty reply when a reporter asked him how he is feeling in the absence of Hasan Ali. The right-arm pacer is currently out of action due to a back spasm and is currently undergoing rehab. Shadab also said that the whole team will miss the young pacer who is liked by all the teammates.

“How are you feeling without your friend Hassan Ali. Are you missing him?” a reporter asked.

“We are friends but you are making it sound like we are husband and wife,” Shadab Khan gave a hilarious reply leaving the entire room in splits.
