Shahid Afridi thanks Switzerland for St Moritz ice cricket competition

For the first time ever in history, cricket was played on ice as some former stars headed off in a two-match clash in the St Moritz Ice Cricket tournament held at Switzerland. It was for the first ever that cricket was played in a frozen lake in Switzerland. While Virender Sehwag was the captain of the Royals while Shahid Afridi was the skipper of the Titans.

Viru scored a brilliant 60 in the first encounter while Shahid Afridi was dismissed for a golden duck.

It was sensational innings and the small crowd got to witness some intense action on 200 tons of ice. It was freeing conditions for the players to play but at the end of the day, they managed to play some good cricket.

Some great cricketers were in action and it was Shahid Afridi who took to his official Twitter handle and thanked Switzerland for offering them to play in Switzerland.

It was some intense action on a slab of the ice and the viewers got to see some of their favourite stars in action after a long time.

However, the picture shared in the twitter handle might yet again create controversies as Afridi is seen posing with an Indian flag.
