Bangladesh have improvised drastically in the last few years and are no longer seen as underdogs in international cricket. A lot of credit for the improvement of the side goes to senior players like Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mashrafe Mortaza. While speculations about Mortaza’s retirement staged since the 2019 World Cup, Shakib wants to call time on his career with Tamim and Mushfiqur.

Shakib is the finest all-rounders to have donned the Bangladesh jersey. He has scored over 10000 international runs and excelled across formats with the ball as well. Mushfiqur and Tamim have also played crucial roles with the bat in their successful careers for the Bangladesh team.
