'Shameful': Fans Tear Apart Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh For Supporting Shahid Afridi Foundation

Fans have come down hard on Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh for pledging donation to former Pakistan allrounder Shahid Afridi’s foundation. Afridi has been busy helping the poor in his country suffering amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. As the founder of the Shahid Afridi Foundation, the 40-year-old has been donating food, disinfectant soap, masks and other amenities to the needy in Pakistan.
And Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh have decided to help the Pakistan great. It was Harbhajan Singh who started it by sharing a video message on Twitter and urging others to help Shahid Afridi Foundation. He also tagged cricketers Wasim Akram, Yuvraj Singh, and Shoaib Akhtar to do the same.

Yuvraj Singh was quick to react to the message and came out in support of Afridi’s foundation. The World Cup-winner took to Twitter to post a video with the caption:

And most of the Indian fans are absolutely furious with the cricket stars for their gestures. The fans hit out at the two for not helping their own compatriots and instead come out to support a player who has always been critical of India. In the last few months, Afridi tried all he could to tarnish India’s image with his constant propaganda. Thus not very unsurprisingly, the fans were miffed with Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh for their gestures.
