Former Australia all-rounder, Shane Watson, and George Bailey will play a key role when they meet the current skipper of men’s cricket team Tim Paine. In Particular, both cricketers are bound to meet women’s cricket leader Rachael Haynes, as part of a panel.

It comes with an aim of putting the right behaviour forward for sportsmen. This immediate step is being taken after what happened actually transpired during the controversial Cape Town Test match.

The player review will be seen majorly by former Test opener, Rick McCosker, pacer Pat Cummins and Darren Lehmann’s replacement.

Australia’s behavior in the field has been a hot topic of late. Well, their reputation is at stake after Cameron Bancroft was caught on TV. He was seen changing the condition of the ball with sandpaper.

Then Australian skipper Steven Smith and his deputy are currently serving the one-year ban while Bancroft’s sentence is of nine months.

Lehmann, Australian coach during the Test series against South Africa, eventually got cleared of any wrong-doing. But he stepped down from his position in no time.

“We understand and share the disappointment of fans and the broader Australian community about these events (in South Africa),” CA chairman David Peever said in a statement.

The reviews will commence immediately, and we fully anticipate being able to begin implementing findings before the start of the 2018-19 cricket season.” he added

The Australian Cricketer’s Association had a bitter tussle with Cricket Australia, not too long back, over pay hikes. They have welcomed the decision to micro-focus on CA’s culture.

“We are concerned that our players may be subject to conditions which could be different from those that apply to players from other countries against which they play,” ACA president Greg Dyer said in a statement.

“Changes to player behaviour, expectations or sanctions must be aligned with those which would be handed down to players on both sides of international cricket matches.” he added.
