ToggleSri Lanka’s young batting all-rounder, Shehan Jayasuriya took an unbelievable catch against the West Indies in the second T20I – to dismiss Rovman Powell. Jayasuriya pulled off a blinder on the boundary ropes as he not only took the catch but also saved a certain boundary for his team.
He stunned the spectators with his catch as it was a thing of beauty which he controlled magically with amazing sharp reflexes owing to his sheer concentration.
However, his effort went in vain as Sri Lanka lost the match and the series after having lost the first game of the two-match series as well.
Windies wrapped up the series 2-0 in Sri Lanka against the hosts by winning the second game of the two-match series by seven wickets. Andre Russell was awarded the Man of the Match and Man of the Series for his amazing all-round contribution.

It was in the 13th over of the game that Jayasuriya portrayed his magic. Powell dispatched a slower ball from Dashun Shanaka towards the deep square leg boundary – and Jayasuriya had charged in very early but he realized it in time and pulled off an absolute blinder while running backwards.

West Indies Win The T20 Series In Sri Lanka:
West Indies won the T20 series against Sri Lanka 2-0. In the second T20I, after winning the toss, Windies invited the hosts to bat first. Sri Lanka could manage only 155 runs in their 20 overs for the loss of six wickets.
Also, the West Indies kept on clinching wickets at regular intervals which didn’t allow the Sri Lankan batsmen to settle.
Chasing the target, the West Indies reached the finishing line in 17 overs losing only three wickets in the process. Andre Russell smacked 40 runs off just 14 balls to help the Windies win the game and the series.
