The coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire world to a standstill and cricket has not been spared either. All the international and domestic fixtures are completely suspended due to the pandemic. Cricket bodies across the world have come forward to prioritize safety over the game in these tough times.

And with no action going on at the moment, cricketers are trying out different activities to spend their times at their homes. In recent times, a number of cricketers have been taking to social media platforms to interact with their fans. Recently, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Kevin Pietersen, Yuvraj Singh and Jasprit Bumrah did live sessions on Instagram.

And on Friday, India opener Shikhar Dhawan decided to interact with the fans. The left-handed batsman held a Question-Answer session on Instagram. The fans asked him a number of interesting questions and he answered most of them.

Childhood heroes:

One of the fans asked Shikhar Dhawan to name his childhood hero from cricket. And in reply, Shikhar Dhawan named not one but four legendary players as his heroes. He revealed that Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Andy Flower and Matthew Hayden were his heroes while he was growing up.

Shikhar Dhawan last played for India during the three-match ODI series against Australia in January. He scored 74 and 96 in the first two games before injuring his shoulder while fielding in the third game. The southpaw was later ruled out of the tour of New Zealand.

He returned to the team for the ODI series against South Africa last month but the series was called off in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
