Shikhar Dhawan was the prolific performer for India in the Asia Cup. The southpaw batsman scored 342 runs in the multi-nation tournament as he scored 342 runs. Thus, the left-hander was able to get the Player of the tournament.
Meanwhile, we have seen that Shikhar Dhawan generally celebrates his catches by tapping on his thigh. However, when Shikhar Dhawan once again celebrated his catch in a Kabbadi player, he pulled his hamstring.
Initially, it was thought that Shikhar Dhawan was dropped from the two-match Test series against the Windies due to his poor form in England. However, it is now confirmed that the left-hander was left out of the ongoing Test series due to a hamstring blow, which he suffered while celebrating his catch.
Subsequently, Dhawan had to take an appointment with a doctor to recuperate from the injury. However, Dhawan is going to be the part of the ODI series against the Windies after missing out on the Test matches.
