Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza Reveals the Nationality of their Child

Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik and tennis start from India Sania Mirza has attracted a lot of criticism since they decided to marry in 2010. Since then, they didn’t deter much and are living happily together. And now, the power couple are expecting a baby in October and for that Sania Mirza has taken a break.
Meanwhile, she recently opened up on her pregnancy and admitted that she didn’t marry Shoaib Malik to unite India and Pakistan. Since their marriage, both of them have continued representing their respective countries in their sport.
Shoaib Malik has been the vital cog of Pakistan team which won the Champions Trophy in England last year. Sania Mirza, on the other hand, has won as many as six Grandslam titles in the doubles’ event.
I get immense love in Pakistan
In a candid chat with HT, Sania Mirza clarified that she didn’t marry Shoaib Malik to improve the relationship between two nation. However, he admitted the amount of love Pakistani people have showered on her.
She also went on to say the people call her ‘bhabi’ over there in Pakistan.
“A lot of people have this notion that Shoaib and I got married to unite the two countries. That is not true. Whenever I have been to Pakistan – and I go once every year to meet my in-laws – the love that I get there is immense. The whole country calls me ‘bhabhi’, and they give me so much respect,” Sania Mirza said.
Furthermore, the Tennis star also shut down the controversy regarding the nationality of their babies. She admitted that neither she nor Shoaib Malik pays heed to all these tags.
“Tags are a part of being a public figure. I play for my country, my family, for myself, and so does my husband. We are aware of the responsibilities we carry, but we do not take these tags seriously. They may make for a good headline, but don’t mean anything to us at home,” Sania Mirza concluded.
