Shoaib Malik Sends Independence Day Wishes to All the Indians

Pakistan veteran batsman Shoaib Malik has sent Independence Day wishes to all the Indians around the globe. Malik also wished his wife, Sania Mirza on the 72nd Independence Day of India.

Meanwhile, Pakistan celebrated its Independence Day yesterday while India gained Independence today, 71 years ago. Therefore, Indian as well as Pakistan players are coming up the Independence Day wishes for each other.

On the other hand, Shoaib Malik is doing a fine job for the Pakistan team in middle order. The veteran batsman also became the eighth Pakistan batsman to score 7000 runs in the ODI format.

Shoaib Malik has also taken 156 wickets in the 50-overs format. Meanwhile, India and Pakistan last locked horns in the Champions Trophy final in 2017. Pakistan went on to win that contest convincingly.

In fact, due to political tensions between the two countries, India and Pakistan don’t take on each other on a regular basis. Thus, both the arch-rivals only square off in ICC events.

India is currently on the England tour whereas Pakistan recently completed a successful tour of Zimbabwe in which they won both the T20I and ODI series. Meanwhile, India will complete their England tour on 11 September.

Subsequently, India and Pakistan will next meet in Asia Cup 2018. Both the cricketing nemesis will take on each other on 19 September. In fact, all the cricketing fans are eagerly waiting for the big match between the two sides.
