Sourav Ganguly Confirms Eden Gardens as venue for T20I against Windies

Former India captain and current CAB President, Sourav Ganguly recently confirmed Eden Gardens would host one T20I against Windes.
Meanwhile, the Caribbeans will tour India between October and November for a bilateral series later this year.
The tour will include three Tests, five One Day Internationals, and three T20 Internationals.
Mumbai, Guwahati, Kochi, Indore, and Pune will host the five ODIs. Post the ODI series; they will engage in a three T20I series.
Chennai and Kanpur will host the first two T20Is while Eden Gardens will host the third game on November 4, as reported in Zee News. Meanwhile, Ganguly confirmed the news with the media.
“We will host the Caribbean Team for the one-off T20 international at the Eden Gardens,” Ganguly said.

Ganguly also announced Eden Gardens might also host the playoffs in the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) if Pune fails to stage the games.
However, currently, Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) has been awarded the Eliminator and Qualifier 1.
This edition of IPL starts from April 7th with Chennai Super Kings taking on Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
