BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has lauded Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya for their fine performance in the third ODI against Australia. The duo starred with the bat as India beat Australia by 13 runs in the third ODI to avoid a humiliating whitewash. The three-match series ended 2-1 in Australia’s favour.
For the first time in the series, Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. But unlike Australia making the most of the toss wins, India failed to capitalise on it early on. They lost wickets at regular intervals and found themselves reeling at 152 for 5 after 32 overs.

But before Australia could make further inroads, Pandya and Jadeja steadied the ship. They scored unbeaten fifties and shared an unbeaten stand of 150 runs to help India recover from 152 for 5 and finish on 302 for 5.
Jadeja remained unbeaten on 66. His knock came off 50 balls and was studded with five fours and three sixes. On the other hand, Pandya scored 92 off just 76 balls with the help of seven fours and a six. Chasing 303, Australia Australia were all out for 289.
