Sri Lanka Announces Schedule for Bangladesh Tour

After a disappointing end to the year, Sri Lankan Cricket team will be keen to start the new year on a high when they travel to Bangladesh for a tri-nation ODI series including Zimbabwe.
Sri Lanka will then take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test series followed by two T20Is.
Notably, Sri Lanka had suffered a series defeat at the hands of India across all the formats, as the men in blue outpowered their neighbours in all the departments.
Sri Lanka Cricket is going through a transition period after their stars players decided to hang their boots. An official from the Sri Lankan Cricket Board recently said they are trying to build a strong squad and are eyeing the 2019 World Cup.
Sri Lanka will fly to Bangladesh on 13th January and start their campaign against Zimbabwe on 17th January with a Day-Night match. Each team is scheduled to take on each other before going to the final which will be played on 27th January in Dhaka.

The Sri Lankan team will lock horns with Bangladesh for their first Test series of the year scheduled to start on January 31 in Chittagong followed by another five-day game in Dhaka from February 8.
After a successful culmination of the Test series, the Lankans will indulge in a two-match T20I series slated to take place on 15th and 18th of February in Dhaka and Sylhet, respectively.

It will be an exciting encounter for all the three teams engaged as all the teams will look to start the year on a positive note.
