Meanwhile, most of the Indian cricketers are currently confined to their homes. With Covid-19 cases rising steadily in the country, players are not able to engage in training.
The last time an Indian team played a competitive game was way back in February against New Zealand. The ODI series against South Africa and the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League was then canceled due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
Players such as Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have been training at home in the meantime.
