Suresh Raina Wishes his Wife Priyanka on her Birthday in a Heartwarming Manner

Team India middle-order batsman, Suresh Raina shared a heartwarming message for his wife, Priyanka on the occasion of her birthday.

The southpaw who returned to the Indian ODI squad for the ODI series against England took to his Twitter handle and wished his better half in one of the best possible manners. The post was all about the love and affection of Raina for his wife, Priyanka.

“More than a wife, in you I have found a friend for life. A wonderful Mom A loving wife Above all, a fantastic human being Here’s wishing you a birthday as perfect as you, @_PriyankaCRaina. Keep up the great work you are doing with GRF. Loads of love,” he said. Raina married his lady love Priyanka Chaudhary on 3^rd Apri, 2015.

Both tied the knot in a private wedding in Delhi. As per reports, Priyanka hails from Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. Before the marriage with Raina, she worked as an IT professional with a bank in the Netherlands. She also did B. Tech from an engineering college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Raina and Priyanka knew each other since childhood. However, they didn’t meet for several years.

“I have known Priyanka for long, but in the middle, I didn’t have time to be in touch with her. I remember meeting her at the airport for five minutes in 2008. She was flying back to Holland, and I was going to Bangalore for an IPL game, and we met at the Delhi airport for just five minutes. Usse Pehle main uses bachpan Mein Mila that. Priyanka’s father was my sports teacher in Ghaziabad, and my mom was very close to her mother. I’ll call it more of an arranged marriage because our families have known each other for a long time,” Raina had said.

It is learnt it was Raina’s mother who arranged the marriage with Priyanka’s family.

“I was in Australia for the last five months. Mamma ne sab fix kiya hai. I didn’t know. Mom called me in Australia and told me that my marriage has been fixed with one of my childhood friends. Maine kaha kaun hai. Then I spoke to Priyanka on the phone,” Raina had said.

Meanwhile, the southpaw has been called back to the ODI squad after almost three years. He last played for India in ODI’s way back in October 2015.

The series against England will be a significant one for Raina who might well turn out to be a vital cog for India in the 2019 World Cup.
