Team India has been playing some exceptional brand of cricket across all three formats of the game. Very recently the Men in Blue won a dramatic final of the Nidahas Trophy beating Bangladesh by four wickets in the final delivery of the match. It was an outrageous innings off the bat of Dinesh Karthik which eventually helped India seal the deal.

Coming in to bat with India requiring 34 to win off the last couple, Karthik smacked an unbeaten 29 of 8 deliveries which were studded with three big sixes and a couple of fours. It was once in a lifetime knock, and Karthik will surely remember it for years to come. Many of the top players were rested from the tournament.

Skipper Virat Kohli, former captain MS Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya were all rested from the tournament. However, India came out with flying colours despite fielding a relatively 2nd string side. They came into the tournament after a brilliant campaign in South Africa. Despite losing the Test series by a 2-1 margin, the Men in Blue bounced back strongly in the ODI and the T20I series to bag the series by a 5-1 and a 2-1 margin respectively.

The Indian bowlers were simply brilliant in all three formats of the game. For the first time, India managed to bag all the opposition wickets in a Test series outside the subcontinent. Skipper Virat Kohli was in the form of his life and ended up smashing four centuries on tour. He also finished the ODI series with 558 runs under his belt in 6 matches, the most by a batsman in any bilateral ODI series.

Meanwhile, veteran Indian cricketer, Suresh Raina made a comeback in the shortest format of the game and played some useful knocks. He even bagged the Man of the Match Award in the decisive T20I. Recalling the South Africa days, Raina shared a picture on his Instagram handle with Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Kohli with a caption,
