Following an impressive show against Indian National Cricket Team at Nagpur, Deepak Chahar once again takes the headlines with a brilliant show against Vidarbha Cricket team in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019. The flamboyant cricketer bagged a hat-trick to bundle out Vidarbha for 99 runs on the board.

Deepak Chahar registered 4/18:

The achievement happened in the 13th over of the game when Deepak Chahar finished the over with 4 wickets to his name. It also ended the innings of Vidarbha, who registered 99 runs on the board. Initially, he picked Rishabh Rathod on the first delivery of the over while the next couple of balls cost 1 run for the team.

Then came the feat when he dismissed Darshan Nalkande, Shrikar Wagh and Akshay Vinod on a trot to bag a hat-trick for Rajasthan. First couple of wickets were caught while he delivered a peach of a delivery to knock down the final wicket of Vidarbha.

Recently, in the final T20I, Deepak Chahar picked up six wickets for just seven runs, including a brilliant hat-trick to hand India a Twenty20 International (T20I) series win against Bangladesh at the Vidharba Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Sunday. The 27-year-old from Agra became the first male Indian bowler to bag a hat-trick in T20Is.

Coming to the game, it was Vidarbha, who won the toss asked Rajasthan to bowl first. Though they got a decent start, wickets kept on tumbling for the team with Rajasthan bowlers delivering the goods on a regular basis. Apart from Akshay’s 24, none of the batsmen has delivered the goods for the team.

For Rajasthan, Deepak Chahar was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets for 18 runs while Aniket Choudary, Khaleel Ahmed, Chandrapual Singh and the skipper Mahipal Lamror bagged one wicket each.
